code - nat.ggplot

nat.ggplot is a natverse package for publication-quality 2D renderings of neurons and brain meshes with ggplot2, projecting skeletons, meshes and synapses into 2D as ggplot layers.

What you can use it for. Use it to make figure-ready neuron panels: ggneuron() for a complete scene with sensible defaults, or geom_neuron() as a layer for custom panels. It is the rendering backend behind most 2D neuron figures in the BANC paper, and works with any neuron, mesh or organism.
